Graveyard Garage

ROLE

Founder & creative director

BRIEF

I started Graveyard Garage to hand-paint clothing — one-of-one pieces out of Venice Beach.

APPROACH

British Vogue · 2021

A pair of my hand-painted trousers ran in British Vogue’s May 2021 “Steezy Does It” issue, styled with Prada and photographed by Craig McDean on the beach I grew up on, worn by skater and model Brianna King. I was also one of three people in the editorial. Credited in print: “Hand-painted up-cycled trousers, to order, Graveyard Garage.” Read the article in British Vogue ↗

GYG Collection I · Apple iPhone 11 · 2019

My hand-drawn hoodie design from GYG Collection I was shown globally in Apple Stores on iPhone 11–14 display models. Only one version was made in pink; the rest appeared in neon green.

Graveyard Garage × Sandborn Swim Runway · 2022

I directed and produced a collaborative runway at The Rose Room, celebrating handmade design and community creativity: one-of-one Graveyard Garage pieces alongside bikini designs from Sandborn Swim, the line I co-created with my mom. Guest designers Cosmic Demise and Father AKKI presented capsule collections, and visual artists Dani T, DannyBoy, and Eric transformed the space with psychedelic work.

I ran every production element — curation, styling, sponsorship, decor, and video post-production. Hand-painted, airbrushed, and upcycled pieces were worn by local models, surfers, and skaters: Venice’s creative spirit and the DIY energy that defines my work.

GYG Collection II · 2021

A shoot built to capture the essence of Venice Beach while spotlighting the GYG T-shirt graphics I designed and digitized. I led creative direction, wardrobe styling, location scouting, model sourcing, final selects, editing, and social overlays, across the Venice Beach Skatepark, boardwalk, and graffiti walls. Models: Kate Baum, Tai Waters, Shawn Hale, and myself. Photography: Kamden Kodimer.
