BRIEF
Pro surfer Soleil Errico wanted to bring her vision to life with the Australian surf hat brand Plow Surf Co. Inspired by the colors of nature — the beach, the sea, and the sky — she was drawn to the soft, glowing tones of sunrise and sunset.
APPROACH
Working closely with Soleil, I led the color development and art direction, exploring a wide range of gradient directions and tonal combinations before we landed on the final palette: Velvet Hour, a calm, ocean-inspired ombré of green, blue, and violet.
I then translated the design into a print-ready pattern, refining the digital layouts and production specs so the gradient would reproduce seamlessly on fabric.

The Velvet Hour bucket hat, produced for the Soleil Errico × Plow Surf Co. collaboration.
