BRIEF
I needed a way to keep my boards at home that showed them off instead of hiding them away. So the brief was my own: display a surfboard on the wall as sculptural art.
APPROACH
I designed an original rack — surf storage that doubles as decor shelving — and modeled it in Rhino. I prototyped it at San Diego State University in 2025, then took it from prototype into production: CNC-cut and hand-finished in Malibu, CA.
RESULT
It hangs in my home today, and it’s now made to order — including custom racks in different woods. Plywood racks are $250; other woods are priced by material.
